ESL -- After another successful season last year, ESL has announced another ESL Extreme Masters Season.
ESL, Europe's premier eSports league, has announced today that they will be running the fourth season of LAN events entitled the Extreme Masters. The first Extreme Masters event will be two weeks from now – where they have started the last few seasons of the Extreme Masters – at the GamesCon trade fair in Cologne, Germany.
The fourth season will kick off slowly, with only four teams attending the first event, called the ‘SuperCup’.
World champion fnatic, European champion mTw, winner of the latest EPS Germany, mouseports, and finally the highest rank side team, SK-Gaming will be in attendance.
This tournament will take place alongside the ENC LAN finals, which are held at the same event and will be handing out $10,000 in cash prizes.
More events will be announced as their time comes around, and will feature teams from 35 different countries and held on 4 different continents, giving away a total of $500,000 dollars during the season.
