XPLeague Opens Their Doors Again
XPLeague --The once growing Xtreme Professional League has reopened their doors with six games to start. The XPLeague was first launched in 2004.
The Xtreme Professional League has opened their doors once more after years of coding issues. Many likely remember their inaugural season, which was abruptly stopped due to malicious attacks on their admin section.
XPL has opted to start with six FPS games, Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike Source, America's Army, Battlefield 2, and Call of Duty 4 as well as World at War.
The league also announced how they would separate their teams. Professional teams, or teams of higher calibur, will be placed into the XPL Main division, with the Professional division being added in Season 2.
"Xtreme Professional League is trying to bring the community back to all forms of online gaming, competitive and recreational," they stated on their website. "We have designed our site to let gamers feel more of a part of the XPL community. XPL is going to reward gamers for making XPL a fun, informative place to get their game on. This is going to be done via our Xtreme Player System."
XPL says that the Xtreme Player System will allow you to win prizes from Logitech, Steel Series and other sponsors.
Whether or not the league will again have problems is unknown, but Operations Manager Dan Sission has expressed only excitement toward the league.
"The league will be better than ever," he said.
