x3o Double Header Tonight as Week 7 Continues on de_contra

ESEA -- x3o tries to extend their winning streak to six games as they prepare for their doubleheader tonight, unlike Keyboard Smashers whose three game winning streak was snapped last night.

Update: Several matches were delayed. Please check the schedule here for more details.

Both matches played last night resulted in blowouts.

The first match last night was between Mike Gaming and Keyboard Smashers. It was somewhat close at first as Keyboard Smashers was able to cut it down to a four round deficit at one point by good awp play from Ridic but Mike Gaming was just too much in the end as they pulled away and never looked back as they won by a final of 16-6. It was a collective effort of frags by the entire Mike Gaming roster but ClowN led with 21 frags.

The second match of the night was Vitriolic NA against Push Gaming. This match was never close as Vitriolic throttled Push Gaming by a score of 16-1. Push got one round in the first half and that was it. DaZeD sealed the deal for Vitriolic as he lead the way with 26 frags.

Tonight x3o is faced with a double header.

Their first match is against the newly sponsored Eximius Sports. Eximius is a hard team to get a grasp on. Sometimes they show signs of excellence; other times they get drubbed like they did earlier this week to Dynamic as they lost by a score of 16-5. Eximius is currently riding a three game losing streak and they hope to get out of that slump tonight, but x3o on the other hand is riding a four game winning streak. Eximius’s roster has a lot of experience on de_contra so I look for them to bounce back tonight with a good showing. Look for a tight match tonight between Eximius and x3o.

The second and last match of x3o’s doubleheader is against Push Gaming. X3o should have no trouble dealing with them after Push showed no sign of improving after last night’s massacre which resulted in a 16-1 loss. Unless Push really refocuses and is able to swing that 16-1 loss into a positive thing and use it as motivation to play better tonight, tonight’s match will end up with same result. X3o is just too talented and Push Gaming consists of a roster that just isn’t ready yet for big time play.

The last match of the night is Mike Gaming against MDLLAG. MDLLAG lost earlier in the week to Vitriolic by a score of 16-7, but at least it wasn’t a complete blowout like some score results lately. One interesting thing that MDLLAG has working in their favor is the pickup of xperience. Xperience is a very talented player coming from the old Cyber Revolution roster. Xperience and hauNt will have the pave the way for the rest of the MDLLAG roster if they are to have any chance of winning against Mike Gaming.
