Crack Clan Adds Rootz

CRACKCLAN.COM - After national success with the win at DreamHack's qualifier, Crack Clan acquires the newcomers rootz.

Just over one month without a Counter-Strike team, Crack Clan has acquired a new CS team, Rootz.  Rootz includes three previous Crack Clan players, a tested veteran and an up and coming star.

Joona “natu” Leppanen, who represented Finland in 4Kings, mTw, and others before leading rootz, comes back as captain along with Niko “naSu” Kovanen and Matti “SPIKEONE” Jarvinen after representing the former crack clan team at ESL's Extreme Masters Final.

Tino “tihOp” Puumala also played for Crack Clan, but is better known for his play with roccat and astralis. Finally Miikka “dRiim” Toroi, after impressive play at the DreamHack qualifier, looks like a up and coming player with great success in the future.

“I’m excited to be working with such a talented and professional group of individuals again,” Crack clan's Luke Cottonstates says. “After dipping our toes into the CounterStrike waters recently we discovered that it’s definitely something that we want to get involved with deeper and we’re confident that this line-up will do the cc// tag justice.”

Joona “natu” Leppanen also shared excitement for his team rootz.

“Today is a big day for rootz. Only 30 days ago we started as a team with the strive, dedication and the skill. Now we’re happy to announce that we are joining the cc// family which makes us one step better in every aspect. I’m personally very happy to be working together with my long time friend Ben Woodward and I hope we can bring him, cc// and all the fans out there great moments, glory and joy.”
