WinOut Dominates x3o 16-0; Evolution Comments

ESPORTSEA – Fans and players' jaws drop as WinOut shuts x3o out, 16-0, for ESEA Week 7.

Well… it’s not what anyone expected.

WinOut dominated x3o tonight in a perfect 15-0 Counter Terrorist half followed by a quick pistol round to dominate x3o 16-0.

“Given the score you could say the match went well, our rotations were excellent throughout and we had a few rounds won just on pure skill alone,” said WinOut’s Scott “evolution” Cavallero.

WinOut has been performing very well lately; they recently won the ETS LAN in Montreal, Canada as the only American team present and beat EG.usa 2-1 last night in a triple header.

 WinOut wins 16-0 over x3o!

The match was practically one sided throughout, as x3o only had three or four good opportunities to win a round.  They had solid opportunities that went out of reach due to solid play from every WinOut player.  MehLer and aZn certainly led the pack, however, with19 and 18 frags respectively. Quas supported with two key 1v1 wins.

Their dominating performance tonight, however, was apparently not due to solid practice, but just consistent matches.

“We actually have not practiced once since the departure of steno from the team prior to ETS, the only CS we have played together were the matches at ETS and a few matches last night vs. EG.  Once chE [Michael Guevara] gets his computer fixed we will try to resume a normal practice schedule.”

Cavallero isn’t worried about their lack of practice, however.

“Given our results, the team is coming together great. All of our personalities mesh together really well and hanging out in Montreal with the guys was a lot of fun, and in adding mehLer to the team we only add someone who we've been friends with over the years.”

WinOut’s next scheduled match is tomorrow night against eMazing Gaming in CEVO Professional.

x3o players were not available at the time of this posting.  We will update when they are available.

We were supposed to cover that match on GCTVN but never got back on the times so we did iDemise vs EG.CA instead.

Pretty crazy imo

We did pretty good last night too, but I've never seen a top 5 NA team get that kind of whooping before.

Can there be too much parity amongst a country's teams? It's unfortunate that what many perceive as our top team one week routinely gets taken out by someone else in league play the next. I'm starting to wonder if North American Counter-Strike is spread a little thin.
