Truth Behind a JMC-coL Merger?

INSIDER ESPORTS - Is there truth behind the JMC-CoL Rumor? Yes, sources say.

New light is being shed on Complexity's plans for 2009 as we are gathering more information daily.  A source, who wishes to remain anonymous, has given us details that there is truth behind the JMC & CompLexity merge.

“CompLexity’s new website will be the media part of the organization with its new site… JMC will obviously bring the team” He said.  Staff members for the JMC organization have begun moving to the other team and “briefings have already been conducted for some of the JMC staff” states a staff member.

Rumors have been posted in several locations.  One location is in a blog on the CompLexity page.  Jason Lake made a comment there, stating that “JMC definitely has a strong squad and I think people have been too hard on them. When coL.cs returned in July that squad took around 2.5 months to get back into shape. Just takes time and hard work.”  The comments could, of course, be genuine, but relating them to the old Counter Strike team is suspicious.  In recent memory, Jason Lake has never put another team in compLexity’s shoes.

Just how Jason Lake and Alex Conroy will work together in this, it is still uncertain.  “Alex will be managing the team, much like he is with JMC, while Jason is handling the website and teams presence.  That’s my interpretation,” a person said on the condition of anonymity.  He added that he “wasn’t sure.  I’m guessing the new organization will confirm both Jason and Alex’s job when this goes public.”

When Insider eSports tried to contact Alex "JaX" Conroy, we learned he is currently in Las Vegas. The Consumer Electronic Show (CES) is currently taking place, with several large corporations there, so it is possible he is trying to gain sponsors and interest for this upcoming partnership while Jason prepares the website.

Additionally, it was reported today that Electrify Servers is sponsoring both CompLexity and JMC.  While this does not guarantee a merge, it is certainly strange and leads to more questions.

Insider eSports will work on contacting the JMC players as well as Alex Conroy, Electrify Servers and Jason Lake.

We will have more information in the coming week.

....it was delayed because of coding problems. otherwise, we were spot on. sorry, i cant control jason lake delaying the site to make us look bad (which i doubt was the case) or them having any problems.

You have no idea who I am friends with or how we get our information. I was less than 24 hours off. Can you say the same?

I'm again, not wrong. Sorry.

Would be better if they had their own teams.

Interesting. Whether or not JMC and coL merge, we will still have numerous "good" teams here in NA. I just wonder if more games will be picked up if the two organizations merge.
