Some notable storylines with this month's rankings include the presence of all six Protoss "Dragons" in the top 10, the absence of Ma "sAviOr" Jae-yoon, and Lee "NaDa" Yoon-yeol's drop from the top 20. First, we have all 6 of the newly acclaimed Protoss "Dragons", who are nicknamed for dominating the scene, in the top 10. Samsung KHAN's Byung "Stork" Song-gu sits comfortably in first place after his Incruit OSL victory. Then SK Telecom T1 teammates Kim "Bisu" Taek-yong and Do "BeSt" Jae-wook sit in third and fourth respectively. Next, Song-gu's KHAN teammate, Heo "JangBi" Yeong-moo, sits in sixth, followed closely by STX SouL's Kim "Kal" Ku-hyun in seventh. Finally, Yoon "Free" Yong-tae of the Woongjin Stars sits in at tenth. This marks the second straight month where all six have been ranked in the top 10.

Also of note is the disappearance of Ma "sAviOr" Jae-yoon, of CJ Entus, from the rankings altogether. Jae-yoon has been on a slow descent from first place since his loss to Lee "Firebathero" Sung-eun in GOMTV MSL Season 2 back in the summer of 2007, with the fall has taken over a year, and is now completely out of the KeSPA top 30. Jae-yoon had vowed back at Blizzcon this past year that he would "destroy everyone" in 2009, and if he holds true to his word, he will be back in the top 30 in no time.

Finally, for the first time since February of 2002, Lee "NaDa" Yoon-yeol is not present in the top 20 of KeSPA's rankings. Yoon-yeol has not been playing great lately, but has been considered as the epitome of consistency, always advancing in the individual leagues a good way before being ousted, but now he has fallen outside of the top 20. The question posed now is: Is this the end of Yoon-yeol, or will he rebound?
