BoxeR Returns to T1 Active Lineup
Seoul, South Korea - After a little over 2 years of service in the Republic of Korea Air Force and leading Air Force ACE, Lim "SlayerS_`BoxeR`" Yo-hwan has made his return to SK Telecom T1's active lineup.
The Terran Emperor, Lim "SlayerS_`BoxeR`" Yo-hwan has returned to the active lineup for SK Telecom T1, marking the end of his 2+ year military service and the end of his leadership of Air Force ACE.
In late 2006, Yo-hwan announced that he had received his letter calling him for his compulsory military service and that he would be retiring. Once in the service, Yo-hwan worked his magic and thus Air Force Challenge Esports, or ACE, was formed. The team consisted of older progamers who had joined the Air Force before him, such as Park "DaezanG" Dae-man and Lee "fOru" Jae-hoon among others. More recently, the team has added more prominent former greats such as Oh "Anytime" Yeong-jong and Park "Reach" Jung-suk.
Now, dismissed from the Air Force, Yo-hwan has made his return to the team that he created and is returning to the active lineup, allowing him to participate in the Proleague. He will have to wait until around March before he can enter the qualifying tournaments for the individual leagues, but in the meantime he can brush up on his game and boost SK Telecom T1's Proleague play.
SK Telecom T1 currently sits in 6th place in the ShinHan Bank 2008-2009 Proleague with a 10-9 record and a win differential of 0.
