WCG grand finals have had their groups drawn a week before the USA nationals
The groups for the WCG grand finals have been announced and this is how they have been broken down. The two danish teams, wCrea and mTw, both Swedish teams, SK-gaming and Lions, as well as WeMade FOX, forZe, Frag eXecutors and Natus Vincere have all be seeding, meaning none of the will be in the same group with each other.
The first thing that should be noted is that the host country, the United States of America, will be only given one spot. Furthermore some of the groups, namely B, C, D F and G all only have three teams per group, meaning that the seeded teams - and any other strong teams in said groups - will have a easier path than the other teams in groups with more teams.
Group A consists of the wCrea, EntityMK from macedon,Bet4Gamers from spain, and EQ_RO from romania. In group B there is Natus Vincere, Greece and executioners from Indonesia. Group C has forZe, Firegamers and i-DX from Pakistan all competing for the two spots to advance through he tournament. Group D has Sk-gaming playing the new MYM roster and the Indian team ATE-gaming.
Group E looks to be the hardest group has Lions from Sweden, the first french team, the first USA team, and Immunity from Australia all competing for the top two qualifiers. Group F is easier as mTw will be competing with F.azer from Azerbaijan and katana from belarus. Group G should be another group of death with 2009 champions FraG eXecutors will be playing the team from hong kong and finally Tyloo from china. Group H has WeMade FOX from Korea, Gameholics from the UAE, Area51 from Canda and finally Newave from serbia.
