Group Day One Ends

DALLAS, Texas -- Day one of Arbalet Cup Dallas has ended.  Eight American rosters, one Canadian group, and seven international teams will move on to day two of group play.

Arbalet Cup Dallas is well underway and the action is really picking up.

Fan favorites, the Americans CompLexity and Evil Geniuses, have taken top seeds in their groups.  CompLexity and Evil Geniueses are the only American teams with international experience recently, so they definitely have an edge when compared with Europe's great at the event.  American teams Finesse, yadalla and iDemise have held their own as well.

European teams SK Gaming, mTw, and mousesports all have played well, taking top in their group.  As three of the favorites for the event, they will have a tough day tomorrow with so many hungry American teams.  The playstyle of Americans might be affecting them. Thought mTw and mousesports had little trouble, SK Gaming was pushed to the last round against iDemise, featuring the likes of one of America's best, aZn, and former CompLexity player, Irukandji.

One of the biggest surprises Loaded, who took down BURNING! in Group A.  They will have, potentially, a slightly easier second round.

Whatever the case, the going will be tough for every team moving into day two.

Insider eSports will report groups when they are available.
