ESL Announce Counter Strike Teams for ESL in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, China -- The world's largest PC tournament series, ESL, has announced the "Counter Strike elite" teams for the ESL World Championships 2010 in Shanghai, China.

Among the teams are all ESWC contenders, including first place Na`Vi, runners up SK Gaming, and WeMade Fox, Evil Geniuses, mousesports, and fnatic.  Two Chinese teams, which win off a local qualifier, will be invited as well.

Notably absent from the list is the likes of mTw, CompLexity, and Frag Executors, all in the top 8 at ESWC.  It is possible that they did not have the money to attend the event.

The teams will be competing for $40,000 in cash prizes, as well as a spot in the Intel Extreme Masters Global Finals in 2011.

The event takes place July 29th to August 1st.
