EG Announces Masters Cup

Team Evil Geniuses puts money into four games for the 2010 season.

Team Evil Geniuses, one of the two top American organizations, has announced that they will be pushing $3,000 into a tournament series of their own called the EG Master's Cup series.

The first tournament which will be held will be a Quake Live cup and it will be followed by tournaments in Counter-Strike 1.6, Team Fortress 2, and Starcraft II.

All events will be commentated by Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham, who has close ties to one of EG's managers, Scott "SirScoots"  Smith, as they both cohost one of the only talkshows on competitive gaming called “Live on Three”, as well as broadcasting together and live events such as Devestation and QuakeCon.

“We’re thankful to have MSI Notebook so heavily engaged in the gaming community,”said Alex Garfield, Executive Director of Evil Geniuses. “Their G-Series notebooks are the only notebooks we have our gamers use because their power and performance are essential to any gaming victory.”

The tournament will be primarily sponsored by MSI, and you must be registered to the EG site and sign up for the open tournament there as well.
