Adidas Pulls Out of SK
One of the biggest and most successful gaming organizations in the Western world, SK Gaming, has lost one of its longest sponsors, Adidas, who began sponsoring the team in 2006.
Despite a strong year in both Quake and Counter Strike, the organization could not get the sportswear company to continue their sponsorship.
This is the third big name sponsor that the team has lost, starting with AMD's complete pull out of the competitive gaming scene, which cost WCG and many others as well to lose their sponsorship, and Coolermaster's line CM Storm, in the past year.
Now the team only has two partner level sponsorships: PC manufacturer ACER and gear manufacturer SteelSeries.
The team has been rumored to be picking up Nike in place of Adidas sportswear, but have not commented on the rumors circulating in the forums.
The team still holds onto its sponsorship with Kingston, Western Digital, Creative, Big Ben Interactive, and Dockers, however the teams main cash flow will be significantly less then it was last year.
