PRD out, bit in for firegamers

BRAZIL -- Only a week after MiBR released their CS team, bit finds a new home in firegamers.

Bruno "bit" Fukuda – one of the most recognizable members of the Brazilian CS scene – has been picked up as the fifth man for FireGamers after Arthur "prd" Resende was released earlier this week.

Fukuda was released along with the entire MiBR team after AWPer Raphael "cogu" Camargo decided to “retire” from 1.6 to focus more on law school.  Cogu has ended up playing Counter Strike: Source.

Team Captain Renato "nak" Nakano told their team’s website:

"That was a thing of the moment, I have always been friends with them and I think that criticism was overcome a long time ago, even when I was playing for mibr," and that"I hope we will get good results in 2010, since this was not a good year for Brazilian Counter-Strike, probably the worst since 2006, starting the year doing things right and different from in 2009 is probably the first step."

The team now has almost the exactly the same roster as their amazing 2006 ESWC victory, only without Camargo.

Firegamers now has:

  Bruno "bruno" Ono
  Renato "nak" Nakano
  Lincoln "fnx" Lau
  Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
  Bruno "bit" Fukuda
